Emerson today launched AVENTICS™ XV series pneumatic valve island. XV series valve islands are designed with interoperability in mind, which can provide flexible, economical and efficient valve platforms for machine manufacturers and factory automation applications in different industries. The new valve island adopts universal thread and has other functions, conforms to regional standards and is supplied to the whole world. It is an ideal choice for global machine manufacturers and end users. XV series valve island can provide higher flow rate in a compact valve block, which can provide more efficient and flexible pneumatic system performance for factory automation, automobile and tire, as well as food and packaging applications. After using this valve, manufacturers can effectively improve productivity and provide customized products for specific markets or according to customer preferences. The new AVENTICS XV series pneumatic valve island can optimize the flow rate and provide a variety of valves and a rich combination of accessories with excellent performance. " XV series valve islands include XV03 and XV05, the former can reach a maximum flow rate of 350 liters per minute (NL/min) under normal conditions, and the latter is scheduled to be launched in October 2024, with a maximum flow rate of 880NL/min. All valve islands in XV series adopt the mature core technology of AVOCH, including metal thread, parallel wiring, aluminum bottom plate and compact size, which makes it easier to integrate into the design of production system. XV series valve islands use consistent interfaces, which are suitable for single-line connection or parallel connection (such as D-SUB connector) and have a wide range of connection performance. This series of valve islands also supports widely used fieldbus protocols, including PROFINET®, Ethernet /IP, EtherCAT, Powerlink, Modbus TCP, IO-Link and AS-I, which can simplify the integration process with the machine control network. In addition, XV series valve island is easy to debug. AVENTICS online configurator supports system layout, which can provide practical information, and system files that are easy to understand in the design stage are helpful to speed up the machine development process.
