These instructions are forinstallation in a hazardous environment. Forinstallation in a nonhazardous location, See "General Installation" on page 18 Forinstallation in a Class 1Div 2 environment, CSA 22.2 and ANSI/ISA-12.12.01 are the applicable standards. The equipment is compliant with the standards of EN60079-0, EN60079-11, EN60079-15 and IEC60079-0, IEC60079-11, IEC60079-15 for Zone 2. 2300 Series vibration monitoris suitable to use in a Zone 2G IIC T4 environment. The installation and maintenance of the equipment must comply with EN/IEC60079 when used in Hazardous Area Installations: For Zone 2 Installations l This device is classified as OPEN type equipment, and therefore must be used within an enclosure having a minimum ingress protection rating of IP54 according to IEC & EN 60079- 0. The interior of which is accessible only through the use of a tool. l Wiring to orfrom this device, which enters orleaves the system enclosure, must utilize wiring methods suitable for Zone 2, group IIC and T4Hazardous Locations, as appropriate forthe installation. l This EX marking of equipment: Ex nA nC [ic] IIC T4Gc and II 3G Ex nA nC [ic] IIC T4Gc. Note that use in Zone 2 is achieved using this nA nC [ic.], no longer nL. l Intrinsic safety parameters: o For Proximitor Transducer: Uo: 24VDC; Io: 46mA; Co: 200nF; Lo: 1mH o For Accelerometer/Velomitor Transducer: Uo: 24VDC; Io: 3.3mA; Co: 200nF; Lo: 1mH l Relay output: 5 amp, 30 VDC l See "Example Housing Installation" on page 64 for cable wiring in hazardous area and for the blue wiring of intrinsic safety circuit, special consideration is needed forintrinsic circuits or wiring, [see EN/IEC60079-14, clause Cables] l Please referto field wiring diagram 106M5801 for hazardous area usage.
