To increase security protection, the following are some practices to follow: l The fire wall appliance should be configured to allow only required ports to pass between specific networks and hosts. Disable TCP port 60005 if configuration is completed and BNMC is no longerrequired. Disable TCP port 60007 if System 1 Evolution is not required. l The administrator and display user names and passwords should not be identical. l Utilize the Config Lock functionality as described in See "Hardware Contacts" on page 11. l Considerinstalling the monitorin a locked enclosure to prevent any unauthorized access, modifications, or othertampering. l It is strongly recommended that you change the user name and the password.

There are 2 buttons on the monitor and theirfunction descriptions as below. RESET button: l Press the RESET button to clear all the latched alarms and turn on the LCD backlight. INFO/CONTRAST recessed button: When the monitoris displaying values on the bargraph screen, briefly press the INFO/CONTRAST recessed button to view the monitorinformation. See LCD Display Interactions below for more details. l When the monitoris displaying values on the bargraph screen, hold the INFO/CONTRAST recessed button for more than 1 second to adjust the LCD contrast. l When the monitoris in the information screen, holding the INFO/CONTRAST recessed button for up to 5 seconds to reset the monitor’s IP settings and user accounts.
