The monitoris configured using Bently Nevada Monitor Configuration* application. The SPA interface on the 2300/25 is configured using System 1* Classic application. The monitoring system consists of: A 2300 monitor with network connection l Bently Nevada Monitor Configuration application l System 1 Evolution or System 1 Classic application l Sensors and interface as needed to accommodate the system This connection is available for channel 1 and channel 2. This interface consists of two signal connections which are A/+ (positive) and B/– (negative). This connection type is designed to function with 2-Wire ICP type transducers such as AM3100T2-Z2 or custom transducer. To function with these transducers, a special biasing circuit is provided through the A/+ and B/- connections. Othertransducers may also function if the following constraints are met: l Bias is -12VDC l Have a typical current of 3.3 mA ± 5% l Output signalrange is within 0VDC to -24VDC l Typical frequency range from 0Hz to 20KHz Config Lock (Labeled: 1S, 1C): This is used to prevent unwanted orinadvertent changes to the monitorthat may disrupt or alter monitoring functionality. The restricted functionality includes: l Configuration download l Firmware upgrades l Network IP changes to the monitorthrough software l Buried button reset settings function (reset user name & password & IP) Some features that are still allowed include: l Software switch changes such as Alarm/Relay Inhibit, and Bypass l All hardware contacts and buttons except buried button reset settings function l Time and date changes and User management Alarm Reset (Labeled: 2S, 2C): Momentarily short these contacts to reset latched alarms, and latched relays. Latching is a configurable option that causes a state such as an alarm to persist even if the condition that caused the alarm is no longer present. Alarm Reset allows those latched states to go to their non-active state if the original condition that caused the state no longer exists. Bypass (Labeled: 3S, 3C): This is used to prevent the monitorfrom driving the Invalid, Not OK, Protection Fault, and relays even if there is a hardware fault. All measurements will be marked as BYPASS, latched alarms will be reset, and new alarms will be prevented
