The whole range of AM Boards is characterised by IP55 protection rate, which is tested and verified in compliance with CEI 70-1 Standards.

The entire line of AM panel boards are tested and certified, by ABB Turati, to IP55 rating in compliance with CEI 70-1 standards.

AM panel boards also meet UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and CSA (Canadian standards association) standards.

In brief, the main technical and functional characteristics of AM panel boards and their components are as follows: • manufacturing with 1.5 mm gauge steel plate automatically welded by a robot, M6 nuts applied internally for grounding; • standard blind double front door in all board panels 1200 mm wide and all panel boards 800 and 1000 mm wide (FV4 and FV5 versions) • IP55 protection rate verified in compliance with CEI 70-1; • galvanised mounting plate, 2.5 mm gauge and therefore also able to guarantee protection for the parts drilled by the user. The plate is also available in the painted RAL 2004 version and depth may be adjusted at a pitch of 25 mm. In the 1800 and 2000 mm high panel boards, the mounting of the plates is simplified by two sliding supports at the back of the cabinet; • pallettable base plinths for 1400 and 2000 mm high panel boards consisting of four 100 mm high angular sections already fastened to the bottom of the structure and four closure flanges (to be ordered separately). Therefore, the cabinet can be moved directly without the use of pallets; • front doors with 100° opening radius (can be extended to 180° with the use of special hinges) made with 2.0 mm gauge steel plate with internal polyurethane gasket. The blind doors have an internal tubular section that improves their stiffness and allows easy assembling of cable ways. In the “V” version the doors have tempered glass (4 mm gauge) glued internally in order to guarantee the IP55 protection rate. The standard opening is from left to to right with the possibility of modification (changing the mounting of the hinges and lock anchorage); • internal die-cast hinges, not visible from the outside. Lock with double tongue insert and locking bar with two or four closing points; • bottom cable passage with polyurethane gasket. • back panel assembled with screws, made of 1.5 mm gauge steel plate, it is removable and can be replaced by a door;
