The method forinteracting with the LCD display is through the INFO/CONTRAST recessed button. This is used primarily to switch between the bargraph screen and the information screen, other functionality is to adjust contrast and reset the monitorIP settings. The otherinputs that affect what is displayed on the screen are the RESET button, the hardware contacts, and firmware/configuration upgrades from the configuration software (BNMC). The interactions are detailed in the following subsections.If at any time during the countdown the userreleases the button the countdown will stop. A message about how to reset the settings will be on the screen when the userfirst enters the info screen or any time they cancel the countdown. This message will persist forfive seconds before being cleared. Similarly if the settings are reset a success message will be displayed that will persist forfive seconds before being cleared. If the usertakes no further action the screen will timeout and return to the bargraph screen as before. If the configuration lock contact is closed, a settings reset is not allowed. When the user enters the info screen a message will be displayed explaining that the lock is enabled. This message will persist forfive seconds and willreappearif the user holds the recessed button for more than one second.
